“Sometimes life is not about what u want to do but what u ought to do”
I want to share a fact with you guys first, well I started reading novel 3 years ago and the novel I readied first was “Revolution 2020”, and I read it again yesterday to do justice with the novel in my review.
It’s like a habit of mine to read reviews first then the novel, and most of the time I disagree with the reviews they post on Goodreads and many other, I hated the fact there was very few balanced review for a novel, either they say its worst or its best, come ‘on “stars coz I am not allowed to give less than that” this is pure bullshits because of reviews like this the actual poll rating goes either too much low else high, so I Apologies to the author for response like that, I know how much hard work you guys are putting to complete a book.Enough already, let’s get to the story.

the cover gives too much idea for the plot itself, yes it a love triangle.there is no way denying that now.
well, the story begins then when author visit director's house, one evening where directors narrate his life as a story to the author.
to be precise all three Gopal, Raghav and Aarti were childhood Best friends since elementary school. Raghav got selected in IIT, but our dude Gopal got his ass kicked when both IIT and the girl rejected him, he moved to kota (AKA IIT factory) as a Repeater IIT aspirant(because of his dad), while Raghav chooses to stay home and selected NIT to pursue his dream.as a journalist, Raghav and Aarti fall in love with each other, and our lover boy again screwed his shot at IIT, things got awkward at home when he saw his best friend and love of her life in a happy relationship, his dad passed up at the same time when he need most support in his entire life, at that time MLA Shukla came to his aid, when he was looking for a private college to get enrolled, Shukla suggested him to build a college instead of enrolling in one, hence he got his ancestor farm land from his uncle by MLA's help. he got busy building his empire using MLA's black money, meanwhile, Raghav chooses his passion over her career by choosing Internship at a newspaper instead of the job in his field. Everything was going smooth when our hero cut off most of his contact with the couple, till Aarti started showing interest in his life again as a best friend. he couldn't help himself when they started meeting secretly as Raghav got too much busy in his passion, and fall more and more in love every day, a few months later he steals a kiss from Aarti and other few days later they made love in Aarti's workplace. things got messed up when she started dating secretly with our hero when she was already in a relationship in Raghav meanwhile, Raghav was kicking MLA and Gopal ass by publishing stories about Gopal's University and MLA's scam.later they took revenge from Raghav by firing him from the job. Aarti decide to come clean to Raghav and marry Gopal before they could do anything, Raghav issues his own newspaper and prove allegation about MLA's scam, MLA's minions broke down Raghav's press still they can't able to help MLA, he got fired to from his post. Raghav goes Broke still he didn't stop following his passion when Our Hero visited his place in his Black Mercedes to break the news about him dating Aarti according to plan, he couldn't able to break the news by seeing once his best friend struggling because of him.
I'm not sure but I believe he made a plan to send love of her life to Raghav because he believed he was the bad guy over there and story ended with Aarti and Raghav married and Raghav competing for next MLA's election.which ended our dude living rest of his life in everlasting pain.
to be exact, I will say I liked the story quite well when I read it for the first time, still, it was ok even second time too.
I would rate this book: 3/5
I actually like the detailing author had done in the novel about culture and life as an IIT aspirant.

let's wrap it up by saying Revolution 2020 is a book that will not take up much of your time,
