so, let's get the story straight, this book is basically about a guy who tried to get the past to friend zone and move forward to an intimate relationship and how he screwed his friendship in the process.

Madhav visits the Author with a Journals of her dead girlfriend, and forced him to read, anyway here's the main plot madhav AKA (prince of Bihar) meets Riya, and he falls in love with her in exactly 3 seconds...
For starters, I hate to despise the whole love at first sight crap. The fact that someone can fall instantly in love with a person in a matter of seconds is completely unrealistic to me.
well, they become friends, more like a basketball friend...that's easy see. now our hero consistently chases after the heroine, this is exactly what the hero did throughout the entire book.well, girl made it pretty clear she doesn't want more than a friend zoned guy in her life, still our dude steals few kiss before blowing it to hell, then Every single freaking page was filled with either his insistent whining… Moping…till Riya got engaged to her childhood Rakhi Brother and loser dude get back to his mother and got busy building back his school and palace which his ancestors left after almost ruining it...
he got a chance to raise funds for her mother's school, where he had to give a speech in front of Mr. Bill Gates, Easy right, Nah trouble is his English is as good as the ability to make conversation with the girl... he joined spoken English class, to get some help...
well I don't know how it works in the novel but he found Riya in a hotel in Patna(Bihar)... here he get to know Riya ditched his Beloved husband and now she is on her own... yup it did happen again lover boy is yet again in love with her, she suggested help in his pathetic English speech stuff, and they started hanging out for a while, Boy yet steals few more kisses from the girl... The big day comes boy got his expected funds and a non-expected note from the girl he loves... which stated she is dying in 3 months & confesses her love for him... Every single freaking page was filled with either his insistent whining… Moping…returns till he finds out the girl he loves not dead which the author finds out from the journal where he finds out every reason of her actions and reasons of her reaction...
lover boy went to Newyork to hunt her down, and finally, the book ends when he finds her performing in a bar...they make love.
and lover boy got all his wishes complete.

I am having a mixed filling for this book if don't love the book I don't loathe it either, the book actually got better and better when the story moved on, few quotes from the book:-
