“I hope you're ready because I'm about to tell you the story of my life. More specifically, why my life ended. And if you're listening to these tapes, you're one of the reasons why.” A Rumour started a reputation that other people believed  in and reacted to and sometimes a rumour has a snowball effect. A Rumour is Just the Begining. so basically the plot is our dude(Clay Jensen) returns from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. inside he discovered thirteen cassette tapes recorded by Dead girl Hanna Bakar, his classmate who had committed suicide two weeks earlier. basically, those tapes were like journals of Hanna were she justifies her reason to consider suicide and she made the tapes in same order how her friend and classmates betrayed her. I consider first few reasons where consist of high school bullying, then it shifted real dark when stuff like physical abuse, accidental murder and Rapes popped up. I ...

Book Review: 2 States (the story of my marriage) by Chetan Bhagat

From biscuits to brides, if there is anything their children really want, parents have a problem.
Well, here I am I thought last time would be the only time when I was writing review for any Chetan bhagat novel, but a friend suggested I should do as many as I can, so here we are with 4th novel of Chetan Bhagat.so let’s keep the party rolling
Basically, it is the story about a couple coming from two different states in India, who face hardships in convincing their parents to approve of their marriage.
Book starts inside a mess of IIM, where we meet our main character Krish & Ananya, book is written based on point of view of krish, which ensure we have a good humor, why just don’t ask…  anyway, they became friends studied together, I don’t think I need to say but, if you put boy and girl with the book, there is no way going to be a love triangle, effortlessly they fall in love.

, Boy proposed to get married, girl excepted, see its Easy…, they planned a get together for their parents on the day of their convocation, and hoped for every things working smooth as they fall in love, wow such a pipe dream. day went shitty… krish got back to home to stay with his parent, and found out his mother had other plans for her, he got on a date with a girl from same Punjabi community… he chooses to shift to Chennai to get close to women he love more… Here we see krish struggle to connect to Ananya's family, and they finally said yes, to krish… Ananya moved to Delhi with krish to make his family love her too, which happens with lots of family drama… couple again planned a holiday trip to connect, well another pipe dream ruined, well at the end of the trip couple almost break up… then krish father comes to save and did what needed to be done to make the couple get married.

I will rate this book 3.7/5

Many people will certainly think before reading a Chetan Bhagat novel for sure,
but this book is definitely a quick read & enjoyable too.
“The world’s most sensible person and biggest idiot both stay within us. The worst part is you can’t even tell who is who”
“Jealousy is a rather enjoyable emotion to watch.”
“rules, after all, are only made so you can work around them”

The one thing I really appreciate is the author has made an effort at awareness, considering how important this is in India.
Well If someone asked me whom I’m going to suggest this book, my answer would be to the newbie readers… who are actually developing a taste and patience to read a book.
Let’s end up this review by saying that Bollywood masala is the flavor for the book but still enjoyable, I have seen girls cry if they are really into the story.
