Hey, guys’ time has come for my first Blog about novel, today we are going to talk about “collide” by “Gail McHugh” and to give you a quick little summary of what this is about.
Just going to jump right in our main character’s name is ‘Emily’ and she has just graduated college and her mother just passed away she is moving to ‘New York city’ because her boyfriend lives there, whose name is ‘Dylan’ and she’s moving into an apartment with her best friend name Olivia, as she moved to the new city she works as a server in a restaurant, she does a favor for her Boss and she Delivers a takeout carry out order that she doesn’t suppose to but she did it for her boss as she was like leaving for work she ends up with this fancy work building in ‘Ny City’.
She delivers the takeout order and is where we meet to ‘Gavin’, Gavin starts flirting with Emily very obnoxiously and she just kind of brush it off whatever, goes home and then next day she came to work and Gavin is where, and he is still flirting and trying to get her number full force and she is you know rebuffing him and then she says her name is ‘Molly’, just kind of Lying whatever. She takes his number but she doesn’t even read the name she just throws it away. Because she is dating ‘Dylan’ and she’s not interested.
But funny how these thing work in a Book right, it turns out Gavin is actually very good friend with Dylan Emily’s boyfriend and Gavin finds out Emily’s name isn’t molly and she’s really Dylan’s Emily. And Shit goes down from there on.
It’s a love triangle people love this book and I understand why it is entertaining it does keep Reading.
Personally, there are a couple of Problem that I have with the book.
Ø It’s a Third person narrating the story.
I don’t connect with the character as much I don’t enjoy it as much I like seeing it through a character’s eye.
Ø It’s a love triangle.
So obviously there going to be some finagling with people who are not your significant other and when you’re with someone who is your significant other basically people cheat on each other is what I am trying to say.
Ø I m not connected with Emily’s Character.
The Decision she makes in her mindsets I just I don’t connect with her.
I m telling, it is a good book; it’s definitely not one of my favorite. It’s definitely not something that I would reread.
I would recommend another book first if they had read all of those I would bring Collide Up.
I would rate this book: 3.9/5 stars.
That was a pretty good summary I think, that’s all I can say about it without getting into spoilers.
So I will see you guys later,
when you have read it then we will talk about
